Join us for an evening of grounding with essential oils and the sounds of crystal singing bowls with Jenn from Joy of Yoga. This class is all about learning how to use your senses and your environment to get grounded in times of stress or overwhelm.
As you inhale the grounding scents, your limbic system, which is where your emotions are regulated, will be directly affected in seconds, making you fell calmer, less anxious, more at ease and grounded. As you let the aromas take over your senses we will learn a little bit about how and why oils work as well as touch on other things you can do to become grounded. We will then relax comfortably seated for a sound bath to rest and reset the nervous system, taking our ease a layer deeper into the body.
Sound healing has been used for centuries as a natural way to restore harmony to the body. A singing bowl is a type of bell that vibrates and produces a rich, deep tone when played, which can be both heard and felt. The resonance of the bowls’ harmonic vibrations are beneficial to humans and animals, providing a range of health advantages including balance, grounding and relaxation, and are used to activate and tune the body’s energy centers. The Workshop runs from 6-7:00pm, followed by a relaxing Shop & Sip.
